Radish China Rose Winter 55 days. [Introduced about 1850 from Europe, having been brought there from China by Jesuit missionaries.] (Rose Colored Chinese, Scarlet China Winter) Plant in early to mid-August. Harvest in late fall before frost and store. White flesh, rose skin, about 5" long. A traditional 'winter' variety for sowing in late June and July to harvest and store for winter use in salads. Chinese Radish China Rose has quite long, tapering roots of  rose skin and pure white, crisp pungent flesh.
