Cascade is derived from a cross between Fuggles and the Russian hop Serebrianker. Good for flavor and aroma but an acceptable bittering hop. Ales and lagers. Typical alpha: 4.5-7.0%. Unmistakable grapefruit citrus aroma and flavor. Use for late additions and dry hopping American pale, amber, and IPAs.
