Used to raise mash ph. 16 gm hl (.66oz bbl) will increase calcium content of mash by 50 mg liter. Usage varies. Lowers acidity in wine. Use 5 8 teaspoon per gallon to lower acidity .15%. Use before fermentation. Do not reduce acid more than .30%.
