The humble beginning of D. P. Wigley Company. It is said the first sale came about after David Paynter Wigley had a truckload of flour dumped through his living room window (intentionally). The noted carpenter, a former Case employee, began bagging and selling from this location and very quickly outgrew the site and moved to larger quarters.
